The three Prescott area Rotary clubs (Sunup, Frontier and Prescott clubs), in partnership with the Prescott HS and Bradshaw Mountain HS Interact Clubs, along with the Silver Wings Rotaract Club at ERAU, organized a massive three-day food drive for the Prescott/Prescott Valley area over the weekend. There were a total of eight donation drop-off locations that collected donations for the Yavapai County Food Bank and the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank. The Prescott area community responded with a generous outpouring of food contributions, as well as $2,000 in cash donations. The food drive was part of the Arizona-wide Rotary Week of Service and we look forward to once again servicing those families experiencing food insecurity with next year’s food drive.
