After a long hiatus because of the pandemic, in person RYLA Ponderosa is back!
Originally scheduled for October 8-11, 2021, it has been moved to April 7-10 and is right around the corner.
However, support from clubs is badly needed.
Here's how you and your club can help:
* Sponsor one or several delegates (high schoolers) to attend RYLA. Cost is $400 per delegate.
* Make an overall donation to the program. Checks should be made out to RYLA Ponderosa and mailed to Sherry Mischel, 8602 N. 84th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
* Reach out to your local high schools to recruit delegates. Your Interact club is a good place to start. You might also have teen family members or friends that would be appropriate candidates. Delegates can apply at https://www.ryla5495ponderosa.org/student-delegate.html
* Help us identify Counselors who have participated in RYLA previously. Remember, RYLA encourages youth leading youth, and this is key to a successful event. Counselors can apply here: https://www.ryla5495ponderosa.org/counselors.html Deadline is March 15.
