The Rotary Club of Prescott celebrated a "century of service" with a special 100th Anniversary Gala held Oct. 2 at the historic Hassaympa Inn in Prescott.

Members of the club were joined by Rotarians from throughout the district -- including from the other two Rotary clubs in Prescott -- to mark the occasion. Past President and DGN Kevin Pitts served as emcee for the program and provided a historic glimpse of the past 100 years, including background on the club's founders and the many projects the club has conducted over the years to benefit the community.

District Governor Bret McKeand presented the club with a special 100th anniversary certificate from Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta.

The Rotary Club of Prescott is one of five clubs in District 5495 celebrating its 100th anniversary during the 2021-22 year. The others are Flagstaff, Mesa, Glendale and Winslow. The district will honor all five clubs at the district conference planned for May 2022 in Prescott.
