My favorite food here is Buritto (when it's not spicy😉).

The thing that surprised me in Arizona is the school system because it's every day the same classes.

 In this moment I really like spend time with my host family.

I'm looking forward to discover new people, a new culture and to be more mature.

My favorite food so far in Arizona has been crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell.

What surprised me most about it here was the hospitality, people are very nice.

Because of that, the best part of my exchange so far it is being able to spend time with the friends I made in school and from the exchange program.

For the rest of the year I just wish to make long lasting friendships and get to know more about the US and the state of Arizona!

My favorite food here in Arizona is definitely Mexican food, which I was amazed at, because I don’t like spicy food. 

When I learned that we have snow here in winter, I was really surprised, but very happy. 

Currently, I enjoy the most to explore everything, the restaurants, activities and meet new people. 

I‘m looking forward to the activities I have planned, like skiing, but also to new close friendships.

The food I like the best in Arizona so far, is probably Mexican food. My host family owns ‘Backyard Taco’, and it’s really good. I’m from Denmark, and I’ve never tried real Mexican food before, but it’s my favourite!!

Definitely the heat!! In Denmark we have a very chilly weather compared to Mesa, where I live. I don’t think I will ever get use to the heat, but it really helps to have a pool. I like the heat, but sometimes it gets a bit too hot. I still remember the day I got out of the airport and felt the weather in Phoenix for the first time!

Right now, I’m really enjoying all the trips and adventures I’m experiencing. I went to Lake Powell, Utah and Sedona the last few weeks. It was the best; and something I will never forget! And also, I really love my host family. We are having such a great time together. I love when we take their boat out on the sea, and we go surfing. They teached me how to surf on our trip to Lake Powell, and ever since it has been my favourite and I can’t stop smiling when I finally get up on the board! 

I’m looking so much forward for my trip to Costa Rica in a couple of weeks. I’m going with my host family and some new friends.

Arizona is such a beautiful states with awesome landscapes with friendly people. 

The most surprising fact about here is that Americans are always trying to go the fastest as they can (to eat, study, drive, school) and sometimes they don't take the time.

I enjoyed many things since I am here but Sedona was such an incredible weekend and also my first football game was very fun. This year, and I think I am doing good to achieve that but I want to be fluent in English, I want to have a full understanding of the American and particularly the Arizonian culture. 

I also want to make many friends from America but also from all over the world. I’m really excited! And of course I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years’ Eve - I can’t wait!
