Silver Creek Update

 

The Silver Creek Rotary Club is having a fundraiser to donate 60 backpacks with school supplies to needy kindergarten students in the Concho, Snowflake and Taylor schools. A $15 donation sponsors one backpack. If every club in our District helped with just one, Silver Creek would be rich in backpacks, pencils and scissors and putting smiles on some of the faces that need it the most in Arizona.

 

 

A shout out to Kara Schroeder who held an online Pampered Chef Party and received a check for $394.80 to help with our annual Christmas for Kids fundraiser. Whoop Whoop – way to go Kara, you rock!

 

Silver Creek will be working with the Springerville Rotary Club, to host their 4th Annual Rotary Masquerade Ball, on Saturday, October 13. Please join them for dinner, a live band, dancing, a silent auction, dessert auction and door prizes at the Hon Dah Resort and Casino. Tickets are $50 per person or $450 for a table of 10. Proceeds benefit Children’s Education in the White Mountains.
