September has been off to a good start for our Youth Exchange Students! Over Labor Day weekend, our inbounds and a handful of volunteers and ROTEX traveled to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Students hiked Cathedral Rock, participated in a service project cleaning up a local school, networked with Rotarians and explored one of the natural wonders of the world. A big THANK YOU to the Bill Family, Rotary Club of Sedona and Grand Canyon Rotary Club for making this special weekend happen.
Our inbound students also had the opportunity to see their first baseball game (for some) at Rotary Day at the Diamondbacks. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this possible!

Our current outbound class is exploring their host countries and making new friends with locals and other fellow exchange students from around the world.

We are still accepting applications for long-term exchange during the 2018-2019 school year. If you know a student in high school/interact between the ages of 14-18.5 years old, please encourage them to apply and partner with their local Rotary Club. Applications are due 10/31/17.

We are still looking for host families for Sunnyslope High School, Arcadia High School, Saguaro High School, Odyssey Prep and Peoria High School. If you or someone you know is interested in bringing a new culture to your home, please contact Kaley Gilmore @ 5495inbounds@gmail.com
