A history of peace in our District
Arizona has been home to peaceful efforts for years. Starting with PDG Nancy Van Pelt and PDG Chuck Fitzgerald through the years with THE PeaceBuilders NETWORK and Peace Summits we have committed to building peace. We encourage you to visit the many places throughout District 5495 which support peace, and engage with the Peace Fellows and Champions For Peace. Join THE PeaceBuilders NETWORK every month on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM on Zoom.

Each year a fellow D5495 Rotarian who has demonstrated an “an enduring commitment to PEACE” is selected by a volunteer committee comprised of PeaceBuilders NETWORK members.
Peace is 1st on the list of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus.
