What is Rotary?  This seemingly easy question has many different answers.  The new Rotary public image campaign aims to provide a simple, consistent answer and rally Rotarians around a single idea: telling — and showing — the world that we take action to make lasting change.  Rotary clubs around the world have been slowly adopting the new Rotary Public Image since it was unveiled several years ago.

Is your Rotary club one of those Rotary clubs?  You may ask, how can I tell if my Rotary Club is in line with Rotary's Public Image?  You are in luck!  The District 5495 website has an up to date and fully stocked website dedicated to Rotary's Public Image.

While the District Public Image Committee is in its infancy we have great plans in motion to help you succeed with Rotary's Public Image in your Rotary Club.  There are five committee members made up of a chairperson and four members.  Each committee member is responsible for four Areas. The committee members and their Areas are listed on the home page of the District Public Image website.  The plan is to work with the AG of each Area to identify a Public Image Champion for the Area.  The Area Public Image Champion will be the first resource for each club, the Public Image Committee Member overseeing the Area will be the second resource and the Public Image Chairperson will be third resource.  The Public Image Chair has direct access to the Zone & RI Public Image Directors.  Hence all questions regarding Public Image will receive a geniune Rotary Public Image answer.

If you have any questions, you can email the District Public Image Committee and we will answer it as quickly as possible.
