A look at "People of Action" -- Rotary Clubs and Rotarians throughout District 5495!

The 2023 Zone 26/27 Institute was held at the Town & Country Resort in San Diego, California during the week of Nov. 6-12. The early part of the week was devoted to training for district governor-elects and district governor-nominees from the 30 districts that make up the zones. The institute, open to all Rotarians, was held Friday and Saturday and featured a Saturday evening gala recognizing all governor-elects. Photos by Wade Nomura and Wayne General.

District 5495 held its 2022 district conference -- its first in-person conference in three years -- May 12-14 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center in Prescott, Arizona. (All photos by Wayne General)

Presidents-Elect from 11 districts from Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii, Montana and Utah attended the 2025 Rotary Southwest PETS held Feb. 20-23 in Los Angeles. District 5495 Governor-Elect Jim Schmidt was joined by his presidents-elect from D5495.

The 2024 District 5495 Conference was held May 2-5 in Puerto Penasca (Rocky Point). The conference was a combined conference featuring Districts 5495 and Districts 4100 -- Two Districts, One Rotary. District Governor Kevin Pitts presided over the general sessions held at the convention center, as well as a variety of social activities held at other locations.

District 5495 held an installation celebration July 1, 2023 for its new District Governor, Kevin Pitts. The event was held at Aunt Chilada's in Phoenix.

Michelle Holcomb was installed as the 2024-25 District 5495 Governor June 29 at Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde. The event including a number of awards presented by outgoing District Governor Kevin Pitts to clubs and Rotarians.
